I am alone. And it stinks. When I get in bed late at night I am used to it being warmed up for me. Last night when I climbed into bed, it was cold. And empty.

I just forgot how lonely an empty bed was.

Better get used to it. I have 6 weeks left.

Hungry, Hungry Hippo...

This is what I feel like.

I am pretty sure I hit an all time low this morning. As I stood in my closet contemplating outfits for church, I wanted to curl up in the corner with my knees to my chest. Long story, extremely short...I skipped church today because I feel like this picture.

I gained 30 pounds.
Yes, I did.

I know that it is from my pregnancy. I was doing so good after I had Baby B. And I was nursing to boot! I lost almost all of that 30 pounds. Then I stopped nursing. And then my weight slowly started to creep back up on me. I don't know how I let this happen. I am a fairly healthy person.

Today was a beginning.

I have many tools to help me along my new journey. My wonderful Hubby bought me an elliptical so I don't have to go to the gym. My MIL bought me some weights and a yoga ball for Christmas . I have joined a blog, a private blog. A blog where ladies, just like me, started a journey today. A place where I can be accountable to somebody. A place for friends, not competitors.

Goodbye Hungry Hippo.

I have a question for you, my beloved reader(s). For a while I have been meaning to post recipes that I love right here on my loverly blog.

Do I put them here, on my blog, or make a new blog dedicated to said recipes?

Please, please tell me what you think. If you don't know how there is a little link on the bottom of this entry, and every entry for that matter, that says, a number and then comments. Click on that and away you go!

Resolutions, Smesolutions...

I never, EVER, make New Year's Resolutions. The simple fact is, my goals today will, most likely, not be my goals months from now. This year I decided to give it a little try.

  1. To be a better wife and mom, by reading scriptures more often, saying family prayer and getting dinner on the table EVERY night!
  2. Not to lose weight, but to be healthy and fit again.
  3. To be completely, absolutely, 100% debt free by the end of this year. (a little lofty, I know, but I am fairly sure this is possible)
  4. To only move once.

I am pretty sure these are all attainable goals. Let the year begin!
